About FindWhatsWrong

FindWhatsWrong (FWW) is the creator of the T4A practical quality engineering capability platform, developed to help organisations build, assess and benchmark capability through realistic software delivery simulations and measurable outcomes.

Founded by experienced software testing and quality engineering practitioners, FWW was established to address a long-recognised challenge within the profession: the gap between theoretical knowledge and demonstrated practical capability.

Over the past six years, FWW has designed, developed and validated the T4A platform through workforce development programmes, apprenticeship assessment, enterprise bootcamps, practical benchmarking initiatives and international software testing competitions.

Why T4A Was Created

While professional training and certification provide valuable knowledge, organisations often struggle to assess how effectively individuals and teams can apply that knowledge in realistic software delivery environments.

FWW recognised the need for practical environments that enable capability to be developed, assessed and benchmarked through experience rather than theory alone.

This vision led to the creation of T4A — a configurable platform designed to support experiential learning, practical assessment and performance benchmarking through realistic software delivery and testing scenarios.

The T4A Platform

At the heart of T4A is a configurable Software Testing Simulator that enables realistic software delivery and testing scenarios to be created, adapted and benchmarked across multiple use cases.

This flexibility allows the platform to support:

  • Skills Development
  • Practical Capability Assessment
  • GenAI Test Design Benchmarking

Through realistic simulations and measurable outcomes, T4A helps organisations understand not only what people know, but how effectively they perform in practice.

Proven Through Real-World Use

T4A has been successfully used within:

  • Workforce development programmes
  • UK Government apprenticeship assessment activities
  • Enterprise bootcamps
  • International software testing competitions
  • Practical benchmarking initiatives

The platform has supported thousands of practical assessment and benchmarking activities, providing valuable insights into capability development, performance measurement and quality engineering effectiveness.

Working in Partnership with UKITB

FWW works in partnership with the UK & Ireland Testing Board (UKITB) to bring T4A to the market.

As the UK and Ireland representative within the ISTQB® scheme, UKITB provides industry reach, community engagement and professional credibility. FWW provides the platform innovation, content development and practical capability expertise that underpin the T4A platform.

Together, UKITB and FWW are helping organisations develop, assess and benchmark practical quality engineering capability for modern software delivery.

Looking Forward

As software delivery continues to evolve, organisations increasingly need practical ways to develop capability, assess performance and build confidence in both human and AI-assisted approaches.

FWW continues to invest in the evolution of the T4A platform, supporting new approaches to quality engineering capability development, practical assessment and benchmarking in an increasingly AI-assisted world.
