The UK and Ireland Testing Board (UKITB) in collaboration with FindWhatsWrong (FWW) would like to pass on our congratulations to Gomathi Viswanathan, who is the the winner of the first Practical Testing Challenge.
Gomathi scored a Defect Detection Percentage (DDP) of 89% in what proved to be a tricky challenge finding defects in what appears to be a simple login process on the FindWhatsWrong Practical Testing Platform.
Gomathi completed a Retrospective following the challenge and commented:
“This is my first experience to participate in a testing challenge. I am glad that I took part and enjoyed it. It was more of exploratory testing and experience based testing after going through and understanding the document.”
Other feedback from participants of the Practical Testing Challenge included:
“Well organised, had no worries leading up to the challenge… kept informed and knew what to expect in regard to getting access to the platform”
“The exercise was an enjoyable experience and I liked the structure of the tooling.”
“Very intuitive as promised!”
“Did you enjoy the experience? Yes! Thank you… Looking forward to the next one.”
We would like to pass on our thanks to all that took part – we were delighted with the feedback. It proved to be an enjoyable experience for the participants, many of whom are already looking forward to the next one, which we will be announcing in June. Watch out for the announcement and register for the next challenge!
